Luxury Tress was founded in January of 2006 by Marcia Y. Cross of Portsmouth, Virginia. She decided to create Luxury Tress Branded Hair Extensions when she found how many salons were not offering Strand Hair Extensions services on their menu due to high cost. In Feb 2010 Marcia trademarked "Hott Links" Hair Extensions which were an instant success. Luxury Tress Hair Extensions is a division of Marcia Enterprises, Inc. which consists of 3 subsidiary companies LUXURY TRESS HAIR EXTENSIONS, LUXURY TRESS THE SALON, & GLAMOUR MAIDS (R) BY MARCIA. Luxury Tress offers dynamite certified courses & training DVD's, hair extensions & tools to professionals. In June of 2012, Marcia opened her first Luxury Tress Salon location which a Full Service Salon specializing in Hair Extensions & Treatments. In 2014, She opened her 2nd location in Chesapeake Va, Luxury Tress Salon Spa.

​Marcia has a passion for every aspect of the beauty industry, business & continuing education.
Marcia began her career as a Hairstylist in 1997. Having done her first haircut at the age of 7 and
opened her own salon at the age of 21, She was focused at a young age to succeed in this industry.
She trained through Graham Webb, Anthony's Barber/Hair Styling College and completed
Master Extension courses through the Texas school of Hair Extensions in Houston and
Los Angeles, California. Her experience includes serving as State Board Examiner in the State
of VA, Management in upscale salons, Training Extension and Cutting courses for large
corperations such as Ratner Companies, Freelancing for Mac Cosmetics as a Make-up Artist. She
travels the country Teaching @ the top hair shows. Her work can be seen in national magazines.
She has done work for many celebrities, video shoots, and photo shoots.
